MOVING FORWARD when life slows down
In these times it's been interesting to see how people, schools and businesses have adapted to the limitations placed upon them.
My cousin whose cookie baking business @la_ti_dough on Instagram took a devastating hit when birthday parties and special events everywhere just cancelled overnight! She quickly turned the negative circumstances into an opportunity to create gorgeous cookie decorating boxes as a yummy activity for children to do from home. My girls loved their Easter themed cookie box!
Schools are delivering their curriculums online, church services are live on You Tube, friends have gone from connecting in living rooms to connecting on Zoom, artists are performing for their fans via Instagram live stories, zoos are streaming tigers, elephants and giraffes from their enclosures, bakers are shipping their sourdough to all the aspiring chefs at home and the list goes on! In such unprecedented times the innovation that is sweeping our planet may just change us forever!
With all the possibilities there is no need to succumb to the potential depression that comes with isolation. While it's not easy, this too shall pass.
Personally, with a desire to offer my young students who are now at home the opportunity to have something to look forward to I started a weekly online vocal session where the aspiring singers could perform for each other. It's been the sweetest little journey watching how they grow in their confidence with performance each week.
Do you have children who would like to be involved in this journey? This online vocal session is available for free to all of my singing students. Private singing lessons are a fantastic way to learn how to sing. Everyone has different needs so private lessons are an effective way to know that you are getting the right training for your specific needs. If you are looking for lessons for yourself or your child, I would be happy to have a chat with you about your goals. Whether it's just to boost your confidence or to get ready for a performance, private singing lessons can be catered for just about any need.

Such a wonderful initiative! I love how your online sessions help students gain confidence. For tips on falsetto singing, Joann C. Chang has some great advice too
